The Fibre Co. Amble

The Fibre Co. has developed a sock yarn that stays true to their guiding principle of harnessing the beauty that nature provides in a way that is gentle on our planet. Amble is a fingering weight sock yarn that blends Easy-wash Merino wool with Easy-wash alpaca and recycled nylon. The end result is a soft yet durable yarn that is machine-washable.

Amble is available in 19 colours, which may be familiar to you as they are borrowed from the successful colour palette of their Cumbria yarn with the cream and all heathers using a natural ecru Suri alpaca whilst the others use a natural brown Suri alpaca.

Also available in 25g mini skeins to use for contrasting heel/toe/rib socks, stranded colourwork and stripes.
